On behalf of your Management Committee…….Yesterday’s BBQ was a great success with approx 40 members turning up in what can only be described as bloody awful weather. Mike & Dave from the social committee did a fantastic job of organising the event, buying in the supplies and cooking the food on the barbie….many thanks guys.

Mark up your diary as these BBQ’s will be a monthly event occurring on the last Friday of the month so the next one will be on the 25th of July.

Our revamped website is now up and running www.cambridge-menzshed.co.nz  and is definitely a good resource to tap into to check out our Shed, thanks to Bruce Hancock who has been instrumental in this.

Also Eric Hill who runs our Menzshed Cambridge Facebook site has been posting photos of projects and events that have been happening at the Shed….once again if you have a smart phone get your kids, grandkids or next door neighbours’ kids to get you connected and join the site.

As Mike Gast our Chairman said yesterday we have plenty of jobs that need doing and you don’t have to be a skilled artisan to do them, so if you have some time during the week come on down to the Shed and speak to the Duty Manager (he’ll be wearing a hi vis orange vest) and tell him you are looking for a task.
