Update & Help Wanted

Hi All

On behalf of your Shed Committee….a quick update

We have had a good response to our request for pallets with Craig Ashby picking up a large number over the weekend and others contributing as well, so we do not need any more…many thanks to those who helped.

On the subject of pallets and what they are being used for…..we are clearing out the ½ round barn and stacking the timber on pallets outside on the sand area to the left of the barn and will cover this with tarps, before shifting it back into the barn once we have the floor poured. Many thanks to the guys who have helped up to now.

HELP WANTED: If any of you are available to help with the clear out of the barn tomorrow (Friday 15th August) please come to the Shed at 8.30am, we’d like to have a bit of a push and many hands make light work.

Les Walsh and the Sales Team had another great day at the Trash & Treasure Market on Sunday making $514 which is a fantastic effort and means that they have put approx $1,500 into our coffers in the last 3 weeks….well done you guys.

Also Bruce McComb and helpers have been doing a great job of sorting out all the machinery & miscellaneous equipment that is constantly being donated and ends up in a pile on the floor at the north end of the Shed. Thanks to Bruce and the guys we have a very well stocked storeroom and plenty of surplus to sell at the Trash & Treasure.

Last but not least our thanks to the hardcore members who turn up regularly and keep turning over the jobs that come through our door, generating goodwill in the community and a good income for the Shed, your contributions are greatly appreciated.

Stay fit & healthy through these colder months.

Regards
