Menzshed Cambridge was instrumental in creating a special time capsule for Kaipaki School’s upcoming 150th Celebration weekend.
The team built a stainless steel support for the capsule, in the form of a stainless steel tube, along with a backboard made from wood salvaged from an old original school building. The backboard was expertly crafted and engraved on a CNC machine to mark the 150th occasion, and the finished time capsule tells an important story as part of the celebrations.
The capsule will be filled with special items gathered from the school, including a historical booklet, as well as messages from the people who gather over the weekend.
The Kaipaki School 150th Committee is very grateful to the men who worked on this project. Their attention to detail and skill are to be commended.
